What This Guide Covers

Investorlift connects real estate buyers with off-market property deals sourced by wholesalers and sellers across the U.S. As a buyer, you get access to a dedicated marketplace where you can find, evaluate, and make offers on investment properties - all in one place.

This guide walks you through every step to get started: creating your account, setting up your profile, configuring your Buy Box, finding deals, and placing your first offer.

Step 1: Create Your Buyer Account

Where to Sign Up

Investorlift has two separate platforms - one for sellers and one for buyers:

Make sure you're signing in at the right URL - the buyer marketplace and the seller platform are separate products with different tools.

How to Sign Up

Go to investorlift.com/marketplace and follow these steps:

  1. Click Register in the top right corner

  2. Sign up using Google or Facebook for the fastest setup - or fill in your name and contact details manually

  3. Agree to our terms and to receive texts about deals that match your Buy Box

  4. Click Register to complete the process

Step 2: Set Up Your Profile

After creating your account, take a few minutes to complete your profile. This helps sellers understand who you are and how to reach you when a deal matches your criteria.

Fill in all your contact details, including your phone number and email address. Make sure to opt in to receive texts about deals that fit your Buy Box.

πŸ‘‰πŸΌ When sellers have a great deal, they can contact buyers directly - but only if you've agreed to be contacted. Opting in to texts puts you first in line when a new deal hits your market.

Step 3: Set Your Buy Box and Notifications

Your Buy Box is what tells Investorlift which deals are relevant to you. Without it, the platform has no way to filter listings to match your strategy.

What the Buy Box Does

The Buy Box lets you define your exact investment criteria so Investorlift can:

  • Show you only the deals that match your location, property type, and price range

  • Send you notifications when a new matching deal is listed

  • Filter out listings that don't align with your investment goals

How to Update Your Buy Box

Go to your Profile in the top right corner and click on Notification Settings. From there, you can adjust:

  • Target markets: The cities or regions where you want to find deals

  • House criteria: Property type, price range, and other deal filters

  • Communication settings: How and how often you want to be notified

πŸ‘‰πŸΌ You can edit your Buy Box anytime at: Profile β†’ Notification Settings.

Step 4: Find Deals

Once your Buy Box is configured, you can start exploring deals on the Investorlift marketplace.

Using Search and Filters

Use Investorlift's filtering system to narrow down results based on your investment criteria - including property type, location, and price range. You can also use the advanced search to go beyond your Buy Box and explore specific deals manually.

After reviewing property details and conducting due diligence, use the platform's built-in communication tools to reach out to the seller, ask questions, and gather everything you need to make an informed decision.

Step 5: Place an Offer

When you find a property you want to pursue, Investorlift makes it straightforward to submit and manage your offer directly through the platform.

How to Make an Offer

Once you've found a property you're interested in:

  1. Review the listing: Check the property details, reports, and any available documentation

  2. Determine your offer price: Analyze market value and comparable sales to set a competitive but financially sound number

  3. Click "Make an Offer": Enter your proposed price, terms, and any conditions or contingencies

  4. Negotiate: Engage with the seller on counteroffers and finalize the agreement

Proof of Funds

If your offer is accepted, you can upload proof of funds directly through the platform to formalize the agreement and move the deal forward.
