I logged in and my data is lost / gone

Why am I no longer seeing my information in my account?

Rest assured that your data is not lost. We store all data on Google Cloud and it has many layers of redundant back-up.

The most common reason you may not be seeing your bottles is that you logged into InVintory with the wrong login credentials and inadvertently created an account.

For example, you may have initially signed up with your Apple ID and had all your bottles under that account. If you then try to log in with an email address and password, you may accidentally create a new (empty) account.

To confirm you’re in the right account:

  • Search in your email accounts for the word “InVintory.” You should have received several emails from us when you first signed up, so if you find any of these emails, you’ll know you’ve identified the right email address.

  • Next, check this against the email address you're currently logged in with.

    • On the iPhone and iPad apps:

      • Tap the profile picture (or your initials) in the top left corner

      • Tap the Settings (gear icon) in the top right

      • Scroll down to Email, and you'll see the email address you're currently logged in with

Logout & log back in with the right credentials:

  • If it is a different email address than the one you identified you first signed up with, scroll down on that screen and hit "Logout" in red.

  • If it is the same email address as the one you signed up with, you probably signed in with a different method than the one associated with your account (email / password, Google auto sign in, Apple auto sign in).

    • Scroll down on that screen and hit "Logout" in red.

    • Go back to the main sign in screen and hit "Forgot your password"

    • You will be emailed information on your sign in method (email / password, Google auto sign in, Apple auto sign in)

    • Try signing in with the described method. If you still can't get in, let us know.
