Where can I see my progress and engagement?
When you head to the Overview of your course, you'll be able to see a percentage showing your progress and a graph showing engagement.
In this article, we'll explain what these mean and how they're calculated.
Progress
Your progress through the course is based on the pages you've visited and activities you've completed. The progress percentage increases each time you visit a content page in the course for the first time, or complete an activity.
To get to 100% you must have visited every page, and completed all activities within the pages.
Things that don't contribute to your progress calculation:
Watching videos and interacting with interactive tools embedded in your course
Contributing to in-page discussions
Posting in talk channels
How is progress calculated?
Progress is based on the time estimates for pages and activities. We add up the total time and calculate a percentage based on the proportion you've completed.
โ
For example, a page is worth 10 minutes and contains an activity worth 7 minutes. If you simply view the page without submitting the activity, we'll say you've done 3 minutes of the total time for the course (10-7). Once you complete the activity, those additional 7 minutes will be added to your total.
How do I find out what pages I've missed?
Head to contents and expand all the sections. From here you should be able to scan for pages that show with a time, rather than Visited.
You'll also need to flick through each page to double-check you've submitted all the activities within the course to get 100%.
Engagement
Below the course overview information, you can also see your engagement over the course so far, showing the number of page views on a given week.
