As a learner, you can use your mobile or tablet to complete your courses in iQualify. That includes uploading files for tasks. In this article, we'll talk you through how to upload a file to a task that asks you to upload a file and has Add file at the bottom of the task.
Tip: Things look a little different on a larger screen, so if you're trying to upload from a laptop/desktop, please check out How to upload files for tasks.
Note: If you continue to have trouble uploading a file to a task, please contact your learning provider as they will be able to help.
How to find your upload file task
In your course, find the task that requires you to upload a file.
Open the menu and choose Tasks.
β
Select the Assessed or Non-assessed tab from the drop down menu.
β
Select Go to to head to the page the task is on and see what you need to do for the task.
Tip: You can also use Show: Not completed to further refine your results as it's likely you haven't completed the task if you're here!
Note: If you're not able to find the task, please contact your learning provider as they will be able to help.
How to choose a file to upload
Select Add file on the task to bring up the options for where you can upload the file from.
You will see the option to Select files to upload.
Tip: Some devices block this file picker. So, if you don't see the above, use the menu on the top left of your device (three horizontal lines) to add files from your device or other cloud services.
β
You can choose from these options:
My device: Choose a file saved on your local device.
Take photo/record video: You can take a photo or record video directly from your device.
Cloud storage options: You can connect a chosen cloud storage - Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google drive - (you will be asked to sign in) and choose a file from there.
Once you have chosen your file(s), you'll see the options to:
Upload more (you can add as many files as you like)
Remove (using the x) the selected file(s)
Upload if you are happy with the file(s) you've chosen.
When you've chosen to Upload, you'll see your files listed on the task.
Use Submit when you're happy with the files you have uploaded to the task.
Tip: If you want to add more files later or aren't ready to submit, you can Save draft to save what you've done so far and make more changes later.
