How will my client use the coupon code?
Once you have enabled Coupon Codes and created at least one code, your clients will see an input field on the invoice where they can enter a coupon code. Once you client clicks 'Apply' the discount will be calculated and payment(s) updated.
Can clients apply more than one coupon code?
No, at this time, only one coupon code can be applied per invoice.
Why was my client’s coupon code invalid?
Here are some possible scenarios of why your client received a message stating the coupon code was invalid:
This code is expired
The code has reached the maximum number of redemptions
You have already applied a discount on the invoice
Discount amount is more than the first installment (code was set to not apply discount to first installment)
Your client has already made a payment on the invoice. Once a payment has been recorded, coupon codes may not be applied.
Note: Coupon codes only work with Square as the payment processor. All other processors will be disabled.
