Pause Your Shop with Vacation Mode

This guide explains how to use Modo de férias (Vacation mode) on Jamble. When you need a break, whether for travel, personal reasons or to catch up on shipping, Vacation mode makes your items temporarily unavailable for purchase.
Before you start
You need:
A seller account on Jamble
An up to date Jamble app
How Vacation mode works
With Vacation mode on:
Nobody can buy your items, neither in the Loja (Shop) nor in your lives
Your profile and your listings stay visible to buyers
Orders that were already placed are not cancelled and still need to be shipped
When you turn it off, your items become available for purchase again.
Step by step
Step 1: Open Settings
In the app, go to your profile and open Ajustes (Settings).
Step 2: Find Vacation mode
In the Vender (Sell) section, tap Modo de férias.
Step 3: Turn it on
A message appears: "Ao ativar o Modo de Férias, todos os seus itens ficarão indisponíveis para serem comprados por outras pessoas" (When turning on Vacation Mode, all your items will become unavailable for others to purchase). Tap Ativar (Turn on).
After that, the row in Settings shows Modo de férias: Ativado (Vacation mode: On).
Step 4: Turn it off when you want to come back
Go back to Ajustes > Vender and tap Modo de férias: Ativado. The message tells you that turning it off makes all your items available for purchase again. Tap Desativar (Turn off).
Important tips
Turn it on before you leave. If you know you will not be able to ship orders for a few days, turn on Vacation mode before your break. This avoids sales you cannot ship on time
Ship your pending orders. Vacation mode blocks new purchases, but it does not cancel existing orders. The shipping deadline of each order always appears in the order, under Prazo de envio (Shipping deadline)
Take care of your scheduled lives. With Vacation mode on, nobody can buy in your lives. If you will not go live during your break, cancel or reschedule your scheduled lives
Do not forget to turn it off. While it is on, you do not get new sales
Frequently asked questions
Can buyers still see my profile in Vacation mode? Yes. Your profile and your listings stay visible, but nobody can complete a purchase until you turn it off.
Can I go live with Vacation mode on? Buyers cannot buy in your lives while it is on. Turn it off before you go live.
What happens to orders that were already placed? Nothing changes. You still need to ship every order placed before you turned on Vacation mode.
Is there a time limit? No. You can keep Vacation mode on for as long as you need and switch it on or off whenever you want.
Will I lose followers? No. Your followers and your profile stay the same.
I forgot to turn it on and got an order I cannot ship. What do I do? Send the buyer a message in the app. If you cannot ship, you can cancel the sale in the app, and the buyer gets a refund. Then turn on Vacation mode to avoid new orders. Keep in mind that frequent cancellations can restrict your account.
