Listing Guidelines

What you'll learn

This guide shows how to create listings that sell on Jamble: what makes a good listing, what to avoid, and what happens if a listing breaks the rules. Required reading before your first show.

Before you start

You need:

  • An approved seller account on Jamble

  • The items in hand, ready to ship

  • Clear photos of your products

Why this matters

When you list a product on Jamble, you're making a promise to the buyer: this is what I'm selling, this is its condition, this is what you'll receive. Honest listings build trust, and trust turns into sales, repeat buyers, and good reviews. Inaccurate listings lead to disputes, returns, and account restrictions.

What a good listing looks like

A good listing has a descriptive title, a price within platform limits, an accurate condition, a description with details the photos can't show, and the right category.

Good listing form with title Charizard VMAX Holo Swsh Promo PSA 10, price $84.00, condition Very Good

The Title uses the actual card name with identifiers (set, rarity, grading). The Condition is honest. The Description mentions specific details (scratches, edge wear, grading) the photos alone can't convey. The Category is filled in so buyers can find the listing.

What to avoid

Listings with a generic title, an out-of-range price, promotional copy and an empty category rarely sell, and may be flagged by the Jamble team.

Bad listing form with all-caps title RARE CARD MUST BUY, price $1,850.00 above limit, empty description

The 4 flagged mistakes are the most common: title in all caps with no item name, price above the platform max, description full of hype with no useful info, category left empty.

Photos: do and don't

Photos are optional, but listings with photos sell far more. Compare examples of good photos and photos to avoid.

Photo comparison: three good photos of Pokémon cards and a Hot Wheels diecast on clean backgrounds, against three bad photos (blurry, watermarked STOCK, multiple mixed items)

Do: clear, well-lit photos, simple background, the actual item you'll ship, with close-ups of important details (card corners, diecast base markings, grading label).

Don't: blurry or dark photos, stock photos pulled from the internet, multiple items mixed in the same photo without a clear note about what is included.

Title guidelines

Your title has a maximum of 60 characters. Every character counts.

Do:

  • Use the actual item name: "Charizard VMAX Holo Swsh Promo PSA 10"

  • Include brand, set, rarity, grading when relevant: "Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunt 2019 Datsun"

  • For sealed boosters, name the set: "Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet Sealed Booster"

Don't:

  • Use vague titles: "Cool card" or "Item for sale"

  • Write the entire title in ALL CAPS

  • Stuff keywords: "Pokémon Magic Yu-Gi-Oh One Piece rare card"

  • Use misleading terms: "100% authentic" if you can't verify it

  • Add promotional language: "BEST DEAL!!!" or "MUST BUY!!!"

Photo guidelines

You can add up to 10 photos per listing. Photos are optional when listing for a show, but they make a major difference in the buying decision.

Do:

  • Use natural light near a window

  • Show the item from multiple angles: front, back, and corners for cards

  • Include close-ups of details, signatures, grading (PSA, CGC), and flaws

  • Place the item on a clean background (white paper or neutral fabric)

  • For Hot Wheels and diecast, photograph the closed package and the base markings

Don't:

  • Use stock photos or images from the internet, always photograph the actual item

  • Use heavily filtered photos that misrepresent the item

  • Include blurry, dark, or hard-to-see photos

  • Show items that aren't part of the listing (unless clearly labeled "not included")

Description guidelines

Descriptions are limited to 120 characters. Use that space well.

Do:

  • Mention details the photos can't show (surface condition, edition, set)

  • Note any flaws, damage, or signs of wear

  • Include relevant info: edition, card language, grading

Don't:

  • Copy descriptions from other sellers

  • Use the description for promotional language ("best item ever!")

  • Leave the description empty if the item has any wear, the buyer needs to know

Condition accuracy

Jamble has 5 condition levels: New with Tags, New without Tags, Very Good, Good, and Satisfactory.

The golden rule: if in doubt, rate one level lower. A buyer who receives a "Good" item rated as "Good" is happy. A buyer who receives a "Good" item rated as "Very Good" is disappointed and may open a dispute.

Pricing guidelines

  • Minimum price: $0.85

  • Maximum price: $850.00

Set your price based on condition, rarity, and what similar items sell for. There's no rule against pricing high, but unrealistic prices don't sell.

If you add a retail price, make sure it's the actual retail price of the item, not an inflated number to make the discount look bigger.

Category and attribute accuracy

When selecting category, brand, color, and other attributes:

  • Pick the accurate category and subcategory: a card belongs in Trading Cards, not Other

  • Select the right brand (Pokémon, Hot Wheels, Mattel, etc.)

  • Pick the accurate color dominant on the item, use "Multi" for multicolored items

Misclassified products confuse buyers and may be flagged by the platform.

What you cannot list

Jamble Brazil is focused on collectibles. Listings must be physical products that can be shipped via Correios. The following are not allowed:

  • Counterfeit or fake items, items that imitate a brand without being genuine

  • Counterfeit coins and banknotes, selling fake money is a crime

  • Replicas of branded products, such as sneakers, clothing or accessories "inspired by" a brand

  • Resealed products, items opened and sealed again as if they were new

  • Stolen goods, items you don't have the legal right to sell

  • Illegal items, anything prohibited by Brazilian law

  • Weapons, drugs, or hazardous materials

  • Items not matching their listing, listing one thing and shipping another

  • Empty listings, with no actual product (every listing must represent an item you have in hand)

  • Digital-only items, everything sold on Jamble must be physical and shipped

Replicas of other items, such as novelty coins, can only be sold if they are clearly marked as a replica in the title and description and cannot be mistaken for the original.

If you're unsure whether an item is allowed, contact support before listing it.

What happens if a listing breaks the rules

When a listing is reported by a buyer or flagged by the Jamble team:

  1. The listing (and sometimes the show) may be removed from search results

  2. You may receive a warning from the support team

  3. For repeated or serious violations, your selling privileges may be restricted

Jamble's operations team reviews reports and takes action to keep the marketplace safe.

Important tips

  • List only items you have in hand. Don't list items you plan to buy or items in transit. Buyers expect fast shipping

  • One listing per item. Don't duplicate the same card across different shows. Use the Clone feature to move products between shows

  • Keep your listings updated. If you find a flaw or the packaging gets damaged, update before the show

  • Respond to buyer questions. When a buyer asks about condition or edition during the show, be honest and specific

  • Build your reputation. Accurate listings lead to good reviews, and good reviews bring more buyers

Common questions

Can Jamble remove my listing? Yes. If a listing violates the guidelines, it may be removed from search results or taken down. You'll typically receive a notification explaining why.

What happens if a buyer reports my listing as inaccurate? The support team reviews the report. If the listing is found to be misleading (wrong condition, misleading photos), the buyer may receive a refund and your account may receive a warning.

Can I relist an item that was removed? It depends on why it was removed. If it was a fixable mistake (wrong category, for example), you can fix it and relist. If the item itself is prohibited, no.

Are there specific rules for collectibles (Pokémon TCG, Hot Wheels)? The same general guidelines apply. For cards, be especially precise about condition, it's critical for buyers. Include close-up photos of corners, edges, and surfaces. For diecast, photograph the package and the base markings.

Can I sell imported items? Yes, as long as the item is in Brazil and can be shipped via Correios. Mentioning that an item is imported is helpful for buyers.

Is there a minimum number of photos required? No. Photos are optional. But listings with photos sell significantly better. We recommend at least 3 to 4 photos showing the item from different angles.
