Embedding a smart donation window on the charity website

Updated over a week ago

As part of the launch of the Collect service, we launched the smart donation window which can be embedded directly on the charity's website (Embed) using iframe technology with all the features that exist on the campaign page - donation packages, HOC donations, bit donations, and more.
What is Embedding?
Embedding is an option that allows you to integrate a portion of our website directly into yours. In this case, you can embed a donation window, enabling you to collect donations directly from your website!

Here is a preview of the window:

Performing Embed:

The embedding process is carried out by the charity's website manager, effortlessly using a code that can be generated within the charity area of JGive. Once you've registered for the service, the code must be generated and then passed on to the individual responsible for the website for actual embedding.

Steps for Code Generation:

1. Navigate to the campaigns tab in the charity area by clicking on 'My Account' > 'Charity Name' > 'Campaigns.'
2. Locate the desired campaign from which you wish to "take" the donation window and click on 'Edit' on the right side of the table.

3. Under the name of the campaign, locate and click on the 'Sharing' button.

4. On the subsequent page, input the domain address (website) where you wish to embed the donation window. You can add multiple addresses if needed. Click the 'Send for Approval' button to confirm.

5. The provided address will be sent to us for confirmation. After our approval, you will receive a notification via email.

6. Once you've received the email confirming the approval of the domain, return to the campaigns area of the website ⬅ edit the same campaign ⬅ and click on the 'Sharing' tab (follow steps 1-3 in the guide).

Now that the code has been approved, you will find the integration codes in both Hebrew and English at the bottom. All that's left is to copy the code and send it to the person managing the charity website – and you're done!

*The image is for illustrative purposes only, and the code shown in it is not relevant to your charity.
