What Will We Learn Here?

In this guide, we will detail all the ways you can securely transfer your donation to its destination: from a quick donation via Credit Card or Bit, to Bank Transfers and Checks for larger amounts.

Before We Start

Important to know:

  • Minimum for Credit Card donation: 10 NIS (or $10).

  • Minimum for Bank Transfer/Check: 499 NIS.

  • The options displayed may vary depending on the specific agreement between the non-profit organization and the credit card companies.

1. Choosing Currency and Donation Type

Before entering credit card details, you must define the framework of the donation at the top of the form:

  1. Select Currency: Choose one of the four supported currencies:

    • ₪ New Israeli Shekel (ILS)

    • $ US Dollar (USD)

    • £ British Pound (GBP)

    • $ Canadian Dollar (CAD)

  2. Donation Type: Choose whether this is a one-time or ongoing donation:

    • One-Time: A single charge processed now.

    • Monthly (Standing Order): A donation that renews automatically every month (can be canceled at any time).

2. Fast Digital Payment (Credit Card, Bit, GiveCard)

This is the most common and fastest way to donate. The donation is updated immediately, and the receipt is sent automatically.

  • Credit Card: The system accepts most card types, including international cards (except for exceptional cases depending on the specific charity).

  • 💡 Tip: Donating by credit card is the safest way to ensure the money arrives immediately, and it also allows for setting up a "Standing Order" (recurring monthly donation).

  • Bit App: You can select the bit icon on the payment screen for a quick transfer without typing credit card details.

    • Donating with Bit from a PC: [Placeholder for image/instruction]

    • Donating with Bit from a Smartphone: [Placeholder for image/instruction]

  • GiveCard: If you received a donation gift card, you must load it to your account first, and then select it as a payment method during the donation process. [Link: Click here for more details on GiveCard]

3. Donations of Large Amounts (Bank Transfer and Checks)

This option is open for donations over 499 NIS only. Here, the process requires special attention to identify the donation.

  1. Select the "Bank Transfer" or "Check" tab on the donation screen.

  2. Get an Identification Code (WT): After confirming the donation on the site, you will receive a unique code (e.g., WT-12345).

  3. Make the Payment:

    • By Bank Transfer: Make the transfer at your bank, and write the WT code in the "Remarks" or "Reference" field.

    • By Check: Write the WT code on the back of the check and mail it to the address provided.

⚠️ Very Important: The WT code is the only way for us to know that the money belongs to your donation. Without the code, we cannot issue a receipt.
