What Will We Learn Here?

US donors can donate to Israeli nonprofits through Jgive in US Dollars (USD) and receive a US 501(c)(3) tax-deductible receipt automatically. This guide covers all three ways to donate in dollars: credit card, ACH bank transfer, and wire transfer or check.

Before We Start

Important to know:

  • Currency selection is critical: You must select $ US Dollar (USD) before completing your payment. Receipts cannot be converted retroactively.

  • Minimum for credit card / ACH: $10

  • Minimum for wire transfer or check: $36

  • 501(c)(3) entity: Receipts are issued by Friends of Asor Fund USA, Inc. — Jgive's US registered entity — on behalf of your chosen nonprofit.

💳 Method 1: Credit Card

Fastest option · Minimum $10 · Receipt issued instantly

  1. Go to the nonprofit's page on jgive.com and click "Donate".

  2. Click the arrow in the donation box and select $ US Dollar (USD) as your currency.

  3. Enter your amount, fill in your personal details, and choose Credit Card as the payment method.

  4. Enter your card details and click "Finish". Your 501(c)(3) receipt is emailed to you immediately.

💡 Tip: Credit card also allows you to set up a monthly recurring donation (standing order).

🏦 Method 2: ACH Bank Transfer

Direct from your US bank account · Minimum $10 · Lower transaction fees · 1–3 business days

  1. On the donation page, select $ USD, enter your amount, and fill in your personal details.

  2. On the payment screen, select ACH as the payment method.

  3. A list of US banks will appear. Find your bank (you can search by name), then click "Agree and Continue" and enter your bank login credentials.

  4. Confirm the payment. Your donation is registered, and your 501(c)(3) receipt is sent to your email.

💡 Supported banks: Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, and thousands of other US financial institutions.

📬 Method 3: Wire Transfer or Check

For larger amounts · Minimum $36

  1. On the donation page, select $ USD and enter an amount of $36 or more.

  2. Choose "Bank Transfer" as the payment method and complete the form on the site.

  3. You will immediately receive an email containing:

    • US bank account details for the wire transfer.

    • A unique identification code (WT number) to link your funds to your donation.

  4. For wire transfer: Go to your bank or banking app and transfer to the account in the email. Write the WT code in the reference / remarks field.

  5. For check: Make it payable to "JGive – Friends of Asor Fund USA, Inc." Write the WT code on the back of the check and mail to:
Yosef Segal – JGive – Friends of Asor Treasurer
43 Lublin Tr., Lakewood, NJ 08701

⚠️ Very important: Always include your WT code. Without it, we cannot link the funds to your donation or issue a receipt.

📄 Your Tax Receipt

The currency you choose determines the type of receipt you receive. Receipts are generated automatically at the time of donation and sent to your email.

  • Donation in USD ($): Generates a US 501(c)(3) tax-deductible receipt.

  • Donation in GBP (£): Generates a UK Charity Commission receipt.

  • Donation in CAD ($): Generates a Canadian tax receipt.

  • Donation in ILS (₪): Generates an Israeli Section 46 receipt.

💡 Note: If you need a US 501(c)(3) receipt, you must select USD before completing your payment. Receipts cannot be converted retroactively.
