Want to support an important cause? In this guide, we will explain the donation process on the site step-by-step – from choosing the amount and adding a dedication, to using all available payment methods (Credit Card, Bit, Bank Transfer, and GiveCard).
Step 1: Setting Up the Donation
After clicking the "Donate" button on the campaign page, the donation window will open.
Type & Currency: Select the desired currency and choose whether it is a one-time donation or a Standing Order (recurring monthly).
Amount: Choose an amount from the options or enter a custom amount.
Dedication (Optional): Want to leave a warm message? Click on "Want to add a comment or dedication?". This text will appear under "Recent Donations" on the campaign page.
Privacy: Choose how you will appear in the donor list (Full name, Name only, or Anonymous).
Click "Donate Now" (or the BIT button for a shortcut).
Step 2: Personal Details
Fill in your personal details (Name, Email for receipt, etc.) and click "Continue".
Step 3: Payment Methods
In the final step, choose how you would like to pay:
💳 1. Credit Card
The classic way. Enter your card details and click "Finish".
📱 2. BIT App
Via Desktop: Select Bit, approve the terms, and click "Finish". A QR Code will appear. Scan it with your mobile phone to approve the payment in the app.
Via Mobile: Select Bit, approve the terms, and click "Finish". Click on the Bit logo to switch to the app and approve the payment.
Note: The donation is complete only when you reach the "Thank You" page on the site.
🏦 3. Bank Transfer or Check
(This option is available only for donations over 500 ILS).
Select the "Bank Transfer or Check" option and click "Finish".
Immediately after, you will receive an email containing:
Bank account details / Address for mailing the check.
A Unique Tracking Code.
Very Important: When making the transfer, you must note the tracking code in the remarks field so we can assign the funds to the correct campaign.
🎁 4. GiveCard
Do you have a donation voucher?
Select the GiveCard option.
Click on "Add GiveCard".
Enter the code and click to redeem.
