What Is GiveCard?
GiveCard is a digital donation voucher for a fixed amount. The person who gets it chooses which charity to support, from more than 1,600 charities on Jgive. It makes a meaningful gift for holidays, birthdays and employees. The purchase is a donation, and you get a tax-deductible receipt for it.

Buy a GiveCard on the Website
Anyone can buy, with or without a Jgive account.
Go to jgive.com, open "Products" and select "Give Card".
On the GiveCard page, click "Buy". The purchase window opens.
Fill in the amount, the recipients and your message (see below) and click "Continue".
Fill in your personal details for the receipt, choose a payment method and accept the terms.
Click "Continue" and pay. The cards go out to the recipients by email.

Buy a GiveCard from Your Personal Area
When you are logged in, your details are already filled in and the purchase is saved to your account. There are two ways:
Option A: from the "GiveCards" tab (if you already bought a GiveCard)
In your Personal Area, click "Transactions" and then the "GiveCards" tab.
Click "Buy a GiveCard".
Fill in the amount, the recipients and your message and click "Continue".
Choose a payment method, accept the terms and click "Continue".
Option B: from "More actions" (accounts with a private fund)
On the "Dashboard", click "⋮ More actions" and select "Buy a GiveCard".
Continue as in option A.
Buying for the first time? Buy on the website while logged in, and the purchase is saved to your account.
Filling In Your GiveCard
Amount per GiveCard: how much each card holds. GiveCards are sold in ILS only. If the site is set to another currency, a message shows, and you switch to ILS on the same screen.
Recipients: choose one of 4 options:
Add recipients one by one: an email and a name for each person. "Add recipient" adds a row.
Paste a list of emails: paste addresses separated by commas. An invalid address is marked, and you delete it before you continue.
Upload a CSV file: a file with name and email columns. You can download a sample file. Rows without a valid email are skipped, and a message lists their line numbers.
No recipients, just send me the codes: enter how many cards you want. We email the codes to you, and they also wait on the "GiveCards" tab, ready to hand out.
Message: "From" and a message of up to 200 characters. When you send to several people, write a general greeting. Check "When the GiveCard is sent, email me a confirmation." to get one.
The total updates with the number of cards. You can buy up to 1,000 cards in one purchase. All cards in one purchase have the same amount.
Payment: credit card, Bit, or Apple Pay / Google Pay (depending on your device).
Where to Find the Cards You Bought
In your Personal Area, click "Transactions" and then the "GiveCards" tab. The tab shows after your first purchase.
Each purchase shows its date, the number of cards, the total and per-card amount, the expiry date and the receipt to download. You can filter by recipient name or purchase date.
In the purchase's ⋮ menu, select "View cards". You see each code, who got it, and your message. The copy button next to a code copies it.
Before We Start
Important to know:
The GiveCard balance is linked to the account you are logged in to (its email address).
Therefore, we highly recommend logging in to your user account before you claim the voucher.

Steps to Load Your GiveCard
You can add the voucher amount to your account in two ways: via your Personal Area or during the donation process.
Option 1: Via the Personal Area (Recommended)
This allows you to load the funds now and donate later.
Log in to your user account on the website.
Open your Personal Area: click the circle with your initials at the top of the page, and then click your name (with "My Account" under it).
Click "Settings" in the side menu and open the "GiveCards" row.
Enter the Code: under "Already got GiveCard?", type the GiveCard code in the box as you received it (e.g., 1234-1234-1234-1234). You can paste it as is: lowercase letters and extra spaces are fixed for you.
Click the "Claim" button.
Success! A green line at the top of the page says "GiveCard claimed successfully.", and the amount is added to your GiveCard balance.
Click "View More" to open the "Your e-Wallet" page with your available balance.
Option 2: While Making a Donation
You can load the card "on the fly" when you find a cause you want to support.
Find an organization or campaign you wish to support and click "Donate".
Choose an amount and log in to your account.
In the Payment method list, select GiveCard and click "Continue".
The next screen shows your GiveCard balance. Click "Activate GiveCard" and enter your code in the box. You can paste it as is.
Click "Claim".
The funds are now in your account! Click "Finish" to complete this donation. Next time, just select GiveCard: there is no need to enter the code again.
Summary
GiveCard is a flexible way to give. To use it, you first "load" the money into your Jgive account. You can do this through your account Settings or directly on the payment screen. Once loaded, the money stays in your account until you decide to donate it.
