Want to make a meaningful impact? Our system allows you to dedicate a donation in memory or in honor of a loved one. Once you complete the donation, that person (or their family) will receive a touching email notifying them of the dedicated donation, along with a personal message from you. Other than that, the donation process is completely standard!
Steps to Dedicate a Donation
1. Choose the Donation Amount
Enter the campaign page you wish to support and click the "Donate" button.
In the donation window that opens, select your desired donation amount (or enter a custom amount).
2. Enable the Dedication Option
Scroll down slightly in the donation window and locate the "Dedication" toggle.
Click it to enable the option.
3. Fill in the Dedication Details
Several new fields will now appear for you to fill out for the dedication recipient:
Dedication Name: Enter the name of the person you are dedicating the donation to (e.g., "Israel Israeli").
Email: Enter the email address of the dedication recipient so we can send them the joyful notification.
Message: Write a short, personal text that will appear in the email sent to them (e.g., "Happy Purim from me to you!").
4. Complete the Donation
After filling in the dedication details, click the "Donate Now" (or "Continue") button.
From here, continue with the standard donation process: confirming the terms of use, and entering your credit card details or paying with Bit.
As soon as the payment goes through successfully, the email with the dedication will be automatically sent to the address you provided! 💌
