While our onboarding application flow is primarily tailored for corporate entities, setting up a Trust Account with us is simple. You will just need to navigate a few fields differently.
1. Trust Documents & Entity Verification
Instead of standard corporate filing documents, you will need to provide verification for the Trust itself:
Trust Verification Document (Required): Upload a document that formally establishes the trust and explicitly list the designated beneficiaries—such as the Trust Agreement.
Where to upload: When the system asks for a Company Registration document, upload your Trust Verification document there instead.
Bank Statements (Required): You will also need to provide 3 months of recent bank statements from the trust’s funding source in the designated bank statement upload space.
2. Defining Ownership and Control
Our system uses corporate terminology for mapping account roles. When adding Related Parties, you can map them to your Trust roles as follows:
Ownership: Enter the Beneficiary / Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) of the Trust.
Control Prong: Enter the Trustee.
3. Handling Irrelevant Document Requests
Because our system defaults to a corporate account flow, you will likely see automated document requests that do not apply to a Trust.
Don't worry! Our team actively monitors your progress on the back end. We will manually review your application and remove any irrelevant document requests so you can successfully and smoothly submit your application.
