As part of the hiring process at Jobox, we facilitate vetting tests and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and proficiency on behalf of employers. The screening process at Jobox assists employers in accessing candidates with a strong understanding of the primary skills required to execute a role irrespective of their degree and previous work experience. The screening process allows candidates to display skill proficiencies, personality, professionalism, and talent giving employers a more holistic view of candidates beyond their CVs.
The screening process generally includes two rounds:
Vetting test/skills assessments.
Task submissions:
Introductory videos
Written/practical projects.
Completing a Vetting Test on Jobox π
Step by Step Guide:
Step 1: Select the Opportunity
Visit the open jobs table on Jobox and choose the opportunity you want to apply for.
Step 2: Click "Apply for Job"
Click on the "Apply for Job" button.
Step 3: Review Skills Assessments
Receive a breakdown of the skills assessments or vetting tests required for the job.
Step 4: Access Test Information
Click on the "Yes" link for a detailed breakdown of the vetting process and resources to help you prepare.
Step 5: Start the Test
Click on the "Take Test" button to begin the vetting test.
Step 6: Answer Questions
Answer the questions within the allocated time, 8 minutes for 10 questions.
Step 7: Submit Test
Once you have answered all the questions, submit the test. Complete the remaining skills assessments.
Step 8: View Results
Upon submission of your last skills assessment, view your results to see if you passed or failed the topics.
Passing Criteria:
You need to pass 3 out of the 5 skills assessments to progress to the next round/application.
Step 9: Proceed to Application
If you meet the passing criteria, return to the job opportunity and click on "Apply for Job" to complete your application.

When you click on "Apply for Job" you'll directed to a page detailing the vetting tests you need to complete to apply. This page provides a breakdown of the 5 skill assessments the employer would like all applicants to complete.
You'll have 8 minutes to complete each skill assessment. In total, the vetting process should take around an hour to finish.
As you progress through the skill assessments, you'll see the completed assessments disappear from the list, making it clear which assessments you still need to complete.
Once you've finished all the required skill assessments, you'll be directed to a page showing your test results. Pass 3 out of the 5 skill assessments to apply for the role.
You only need to complete a skills assessment once.
Remember to complete the vetting test before the application deadline stated in the job advert.
