Ensuring Language Support During Your Medical Appointments

Fridays is committed to providing care in your preferred language. If your portal is set to Spanish, you’ll automatically be matched with Spanish-speaking providers and coaches when available.

How Language Support Works

Fridays offers two types of language support:

  1. Automatic Matching With Spanish-Speaking Providers
    If your patient portal is set to Spanish, we’ll do our best to match you with a provider or coach who speaks Spanish.

  2. Interpreter Services
    If your preferred provider doesn’t speak your language, we can arrange for a professional interpreter to join your video appointment.


Make Sure Your Portal Is Set to Spanish

We typically detect your preferred language based on your keyboard and browser settings. However, you should double-check:

  1. Go to Perfil in the left-hand menu.

  2. In the upper-right corner, make sure “ES” is selected.

  3. Once your profile is in Spanish, Spanish-speaking support will be surfaced when available.


Requesting Additional Language Support

If needed, you can still request an interpreter:

  • Let us know your preferred language when scheduling your appointment.
