Ensuring Language Support During Your Medical Appointments
Fridays is committed to providing care in your preferred language. If your portal is set to Spanish, you’ll automatically be matched with Spanish-speaking providers and coaches when available.
How Language Support Works
Fridays offers two types of language support:
Automatic Matching With Spanish-Speaking Providers
If your patient portal is set to Spanish, we’ll do our best to match you with a provider or coach who speaks Spanish.Interpreter Services
If your preferred provider doesn’t speak your language, we can arrange for a professional interpreter to join your video appointment.
Make Sure Your Portal Is Set to Spanish
Ensure that your Fridays Patient Portal is set to your preferred language. Follow these expanded steps to manually confirm or change your settings:
Access the Sidebar Menu
Log in to your Fridays Patient Portal.
On the left-hand side, open the sidebar menu and locate your profile name or "Profile."
Locate the Language Toggle
In the profile section, find the "EN/ES" toggle button.
This button is usually in the upper-right corner of the profile page or a visible area within the menu options.
Switch the Language
Click the toggle to switch from "EN" (English) to "ES" (Spanish). When completed, the portal interface will automatically update to Spanish.
Requesting Additional Language Support
If needed, you can still request an interpreter:
