How to Submit a Medication Refill Request

Medication Refills Without a Video Visit

Updated over 8 months ago

If you don't need to ask the provider any questions, you can request a refill by filling out a medication request form directly from the patient portal.

Please only request a refill after you have taken your 3rd dose of the current medication!

  1. Login to your patient portal at https://app.joinfridays.com/home

  2. Once logged in you will be presented with the home screen. The key items to highlight here are the menu options on the left hand side.

  3. In order to access your upcoming appointments or request a refill, navigate to the “Consultations” section on the left hand menu.

  4. In Consultations, you will be able to view all current and past consultations. You can request a new Consultation by navigating to the “New Consultation” button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You can also request a refill under “My Meds” , “New Medication Request”

  5. Be sure to select the option "Order medication"

  6. You will then be presented with the questionnaire. You will be asked to answer questions which will be reviewed by a licensed medical provider. Once you have successfully completed the medication request form, you will see a confirmation screen. Now you can view any updates within the “My Meds” section.

Will my provider move me up in doses?
Our providers evaluate each patient on a case by case basis. The decision to move a patient up in dose can be impacted by many things. Under the question, "Do you have any further information which you would like the doctor to know?" you can add questions or comments about your dose.

Should I cancel my current follow up appointment?
Yes, you can cancel your current follow up appointment and replace it with the refill request. Should a video consultation be required, we will let you know!

Will I still be able to see a provider on a video visit?
If you decide to proceed with a refill request, you will not be eligible to book a video consultation on the portal. You can always choose to see a provider on a video visit if you prefer.

Does this mean I will never need a video visit again?
No, this is not eliminating video visits. There is a chance that you will still need to see a provider even after they review your refill request.
