π‘NOTE: This feature is currently available for Word documents (.docx) uploaded through Juro's Slack integration. Documents uploaded directly into Juro or through any other integration will not trigger AI review from this configuration.
AI Approvers will also need to install Juro's Word plug-in for this flow.
AI review can analyse the contracts your team receives against one of your playbooks and generate suggested redlines.
β Less time spent on manual approvals
β Comprehensive analysis based on your company's negotiation framework
β Smoother flows between document creation and approval
Getting started ππ½
To enable AI review on a template, you'll need:
A playbook: This contains your negotiation positions and fallback language, which AI review uses to analyse incoming documents and generate redlines.
An AI approver: This is the person responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving the AI's suggested redlines before they're shared with the requester. The AI approver needs to either be an admin or editor in the relevant templateβs workspace. As this flow takes place in Slack, all AI review notifications are delivered there. AI approvers must connect their Juro account in Slack to receive these notifications.
Both of the above must be configured together. You can't publish a template with a playbook but no AI approver, or vice versa.
Configuring your template π§±
To set up AI review on your template:
1. Open the Document members tab of your template. Select your playbook from the PLAYBOOK dropdown |
|
If you don't see your preferred template, check that it's published for workspace use. You can use the same playbook across multiple templates. |
2. Click + Add AI approver and select an approver from the users list. All workspace Admins and Editors with access to the template will be available for selection. |
|
3. Republish your template |
|
π‘ NOTE: You will only see the option to publish your template after both your playbook and AI approver have been set. |
Running AI review on counterparty contracts π©
When a user uploads a document from Slack against a template that has AI review enabled, the review and redlining flow will begin automatically. Once this is complete, both the AI Approver and Requestor will receive an email notification to confirm this.
Review AI suggestions (AI Approvers) π
To complete the review as an AI Approver:
1. Click the link or Open document in Word in your notification. This opens the document in Juro's Word Preview mode. |
|
3. Open this document in Word on your desktop and open the Juro app. When prompted, select Upload as version. |
|
This version will now be synced again with the contract in Juro. |
4. Open the AI review tab to see the AI's suggestions. During the review process, you can accept and reject redlines or add a comment to an accepted redline. |
|
5. Click Mark review as complete to close this review cycle |
|
π¨ NB: The document will remain in the AI approval phase until this is selected, and the document can't progress further. |
Review AI suggestions (Requestors) π
The Requestor will receive a Slack notification to let them know that an AI Approver has closed the current review cycle.
Once the AI approver signs off, you can either:
Send the document through the remaining approval workflow on the platform, or
Return the reviewed version to the counterparty for further negotiation or signature
π‘ NOTE: While you can trigger the remaining approval workflow before AI approve sign off, if the document text changes after an approver has approved or rejected (e.g. the AI approver amends redlines), those approvers will need to re-approve. This ensures approvers are always signing off on the final version of the document.
