Creating an AI Review playbook πŸ—οΈ

To create a playbook for AI Review:

1. Open the Playbook hub and click +Add Playbook.

2. Select one of Juro's starter playbooks or + Add own rules to build a new one from scratch.

3. To create a new rule, unpublish your playbook, click + Add rule and populate the fields.

Juro's starter playbooks have preset rules that you can update as needed. When it's ready to use, republish the playbook.

πŸ’‘ NOTE: To edit a playbook again at any stage, you'll need to unpublish it.

Understanding the Agent's output πŸ’

Post-review, the Agent will generate one of two responses:

If the contract terms comply with your playbook, you'll receive:

  • A verified copy of your contract.

  • A message confirming compliance.

If changes are needed, you'll receive:

  • a redlined version of the contract showing suggested deletions and additions.

  • Explanations for each suggested change.

Running AI Review for first-party paper πŸ“‡

After you create a contract in Juro, you can share it with an external party for them to begin redlining. These redlines can then be reviewed by Juro's AI against a selected playbook to determine if these suggested changes can be incorporated into the contract. To do this:

1. In your contract, ensure Comment & suggest is enabled for the sharing link: this is accessible in the Can Sign + menu for signing links and in the Can view + menu for reviewer links.

2. Share the link with an external stakeholder (see here for guidance on sharing with reviewers and here for sharing with signatories).

Once the external party adds redlines to your contract, the first-party paper flow will be triggered. Their suggestions will shows in your External Comments tab after a browser page refresh.

3. In the External Comments tab, select the playbook that you'd like to review the redlines against.

4. With your playbook selected, click Run AI review.

Juro's AI will begin reviewing the redlines against the guardrails laid out in the selected template.

5. Once the scan is complete, Juro will generate a summary of the items that were checked.

Where a redline aligns with your playbook terms, you can accept or reject this as appropriate.

If a redline does not match the criteria set out in your playbook, a Not acceptable message will show. From here, you can see a summary of your positions and the AI's conclusions by hovering over the i and ? icons, respectively.

You can then either reject the redline with a comment (editable by clicking the pencil icon in the COMMENT panel) or reject it with no additional explanation provided.

6. Clicking Mark review as complete in the top-right-hand corner of your contract will close the current review cycle.

You can start a new AI Review flow from the External Comments section by selecting a playbook. Alternatively, you can reopen the previous review cycle.

πŸ’‘ NOTE: Once you accept or reject a redline, this cannot be undone.
