Introduction ๐Ÿ‘‹

Two-factor Authentication (or 2FA) protects your online accounts in a way that goes beyond standard username and password requirements.
โ€‹
In essence, 2FA adds an extra layer of security; protecting your Juro workspace from unauthorised access and keeping your sensitive data secure.

Setting up 2FA ๐Ÿ”’

๐Ÿ’ก NOTE: Turning 2FA applies to the Juro profile in which it is activated; users must activate this feature for their own profiles.

When a user first enables 2FA, they will receive a list of backup codes to use in the event their authenticator doesn't receive Juro verification codes during a login attempt - this can happen when a user changes devices.

We advise all customers to safely log and store these codes for future use.

โ€‹You will need to download a separate 2FA authenticator application (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) to your mobile device before beginning the below process.
โ€‹
Once you have downloaded a 2FA authenticator to your mobile device, in Juro:

  1. Go to Settings and then Profile

  2. At the bottom of the page, under Two-factor authentication, select Enable 2FA

  3. Scan the QR code from your mobile deviceโ€™s 2FA application and enter it in the Verification code field

  4. Copy and store recovery codes in a safe place in case you forget 2FA. Do not give anyone your recovery code: if you realise you've lost your code immediately update your 2FA from Juroโ€™s settings

  5. Click Continue.

Two-factor authentication is now turned on for your Juro profile ๐Ÿ”’
