In ScribbleVet, the AI-assisted template builder allows you to generate a custom template from an existing veterinary note or document. Upload a PDF, JPG, or PNG, choose a base template, and ScribbleVet will automatically create a template that matches your clinic's documentation style. After the template is generated, you can review and fine-tune it before using it.
Before you begin
This feature is available only on the ScribbleVet web app (web.scribblevet.com).
You can upload veterinary notes in PDF, JPG, or PNG format.
Create a template from an existing note
Use the AI-assisted template builder to quickly recreate your clinic's preferred SOAP format without manually building a template from scratch.
Go to Templates.
Click Create from note.
Upload your note or document (PDF, JPG, or PNG).
Select the Base template you want ScribbleVet to use as the starting point (for example, SOAP).
Enter a Custom template name.
Click Generate template.
After you click Generate template, ScribbleVet will process your document and automatically build your custom template.
When processing is complete, you'll see Template ready!
Review and customize the generated template
After your template has been generated, you can make additional changes before using it.
Open your newly created template from the Templates page.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to any generated section.
Modify headings, instructions, or formatting to match your clinic's workflow.
Save your changes when you're finished.
The AI-generated template is designed to provide a strong starting point, and you have full control to customize every section as needed.

Do I have to use the generated template as-is?

Does the AI replace my existing templates?
No. The generated template is created as a new custom template. Your existing templates remain unchanged.
