What is the Sandbox environment?

It’s a separate environment, meaning anything you do inside it stays out of your live data.

This enables Fund Managers to preview data collection questions and test out beta functionality.

Key Benefits

Safe Data Request Previews

See exactly what your portfolio companies experience by assigning a data request to your Sandbox company.

Isolated Beta Feature Testing

We can enable beta functionality, just in your Sandbox. You can safely test and provide feedback before anything goes live.

No Data Contamination

All Sandbox data is kept separate from your live portfolio data.
That means no risk of reports or aggregations being affected by test inputs.

Intuitive and Familiar Interface

The Sandbox looks and behaves just like your real company portal, offering an authentic testing experience.

The yellow banner ensures you always know you’re in a test environment.

How to create a sandbox environment

  1. Log into your fund manager account

  2. In the left-hand navigation panel, alongside "Fund Manager Platform" and "Self-Assessment," you will now see a third option called "Sandbox".

  3. When you first log-in to your sandbox environment, some set up will be required where you can choose the company name and currency in which the test company will report it

  4. Once the test company has been created, you will be taken to the Sandbox environment

  5. This set up will now be available whenever you click into your Sandbox environment
