Kickbooster automatically sends email notifications to affiliates based on key events in their referral journey. These notifications help keep your affiliates informed and engaged, but you have full control over whether or not these emails are sent.
By default, affiliate emails are enabled for all programs in your account. These emails include notifications for the following events:
Application Accepted
Application Rejected
Applied to Program
First Referral
Referral Offer Changed
Welcome Email
Managing Affiliate Emails
If you prefer not to send these automated emails—such as when you plan to manage communications through another platform like Klaviyo—you can disable them from your Account Settings.
Note: Kickbooster emails stay active by default after Klaviyo integration—remember to turn them off if you're replacing them with Klaviyo flows.
How to Access and Update Email Settings
Log in to your Kickbooster account.
Navigate to Account Settings.
Click the Affiliate Email Settings tab.
Choose Email Event, then Click Edit.
Toggle off Enable All Email Notifications if you want to disable the email event across all programs.
Running multiple programs? Event emails are enabled by default for all programs, but you can customize settings per program. Instead of turning off all notifications, just toggle them off for specific programs as needed.
