The Parent Interview is a guided, voice-based conversation about how your child approaches learning at home.
Plan for approximately 40 minutes to complete the full Kidaro process, including the Parent Interview and your child’s portion. The process should be completed in one sitting.
What Will I Be Asked?
The Parent Interview asks about patterns you have noticed in everyday life, including:
How your child reacts to new tasks
How your child maintains attention
How your child responds when something feels difficult
How your child follows multi-step instructions
How your child stays motivated and engaged
How your child reacts to mistakes, feedback, or frustration
There are no right or wrong answers. Answer based on what you usually notice rather than trying to choose the response that sounds best.
Your answers provide the everyday context Kidaro uses alongside your child’s experience to create the Learning Profile. The Learning Profile brings these perspectives together to show patterns and practical next steps, not grades or diagnoses.
How Do I Answer?
The Parent Interview uses a voice-based interface. When you see “LISTENING,” Kidaro is ready for your response.
Follow the instructions on screen and speak naturally. At the beginning, you may be asked to say “yes” when you are ready to continue.
Choose a quiet place where you can speak comfortably and complete the process without interruptions.
Do I Need to Prepare Anything?
No. You do not need school records, grades, or notes from a teacher.
It may help to think about recent learning moments at home, but you can answer each question as it appears.
What Happens When I Finish?
Once the Parent Interview is complete, Kidaro will guide you to the next part of the process. Your child will interact with the Kidaro guide through a conversation and short play-based activities.
Kidaro then combines both parts to create your child’s Learning Profile.
