How to Integrate Xero with Kintsugi

Integrating your Xero account with Kintsugi allows you to seamlessly transfer data between the two platforms.

Follow the steps below to quickly set up your integration:

Before You Start

Ensure you're logged into both your Xero and Kintsugi accounts. Logging into both accounts before starting the integration ensures a smooth and uninterrupted connection process.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to Integrations

    • In your Kintsugi app, select Data Sources from the main menu.

    • Click on Browse Integrations.

  2. Connect to Xero

    • Scroll through the list and locate Xero.

    • Click the Connect button.

  3. Authorize Kintsugi

    • A pop-up will appear asking you to authorize the integration. Click Authorize.

    • A new window from Xero will open, requesting permission to allow Kintsugi to access your data.

    • Click Continue with Organizations to confirm.

  4. Select Your Organization

    • After authorization, you will be redirected back to Kintsugi.

    • Choose your Xero Tenant (for example, Demo Company US).

    • Click Save to complete the setup.

What Happens Next?

After saving, your Xero integration will show as active under Data Sources in Kintsugi. The initial import of your Xero data into Kintsugi will begin automatically.

Important:

  • The initial import may take a few minutes. You can refresh your page or navigate between tabs to check the progress.

  • While the import is ongoing, you'll see a notification in the Kintsugi dashboard indicating that data import is still in progress. The numbers shown during this period may not yet reflect the most current data.

  • Once the import is complete, you'll receive an email notification confirming successful integration.

Now you're all set! Your Xero and Kintsugi accounts are integrated, keeping your information consistently updated across both platforms.
