How to add Teachers

Adding Teachers helps Kit create the best schedule for your unique caseload! To get started, click on the 'Teachers' icon on the left side panel and then click 'Add Teacher'.

You can then begin adding information to your Teacher's profile!

Click here to see a list of all fields you can add for Teachers

  • Teacher name

  • School name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Grades taught (you can select multiple grades if needed)

  • Room number

  • Class subject

  • Preferred service times

  • Obstacles (i.e. times students should not be pulled)

Be sure to include the Teacher's preferred times and/or obstacles (i.e. times that the student should not be scheduled) for scheduling purposes.

When saving a teacher's record you can select:

  • 'Save & Add Another' to continue adding additional teachers

  • 'Save & Duplicate' to create a duplicate of that teacher’s profile

  • 'Create' to create the teacher's profile

To edit or delete a teacher's record, check the box next to their name.

After teachers have been added, you can sort, filter, search, or pin columns using the 3 dots beside each column to personalize your view.

Teacher data can also be exported into a .csv spreadsheet or .pdf file. You can export all records at once, or into a filtered list. Once the file is downloaded, you can view or print the data.
