How to Clearly Explain the No-Return Discount to Customers

When using Kiwi Return Saver, it’s important to clearly communicate the terms of the offer to your customers. The goal is to ensure they understand they’re receiving a discount in exchange for waiving their right to return the item. Clear messaging builds trust and helps avoid confusion or disputes.


Where the Message Appears

The message is shown when customers hover over the info icon beside the Return Saver checkbox on the product and cart page. This allows them to review the offer terms before opting in.


What Should the Message Include?

Your message should answer two key questions:

  • What is the offer?
    Example: “Save $5 when you commit to your purchase.”

  • What is the trade-off?
    Make it clear that in exchange for a discount, they agree that the item will not be returned.


How to Add or Edit the Message

Here's a quick guide on how to add or edit the message:

  1. Open the Kiwi Return Saver app from your Shopify admin.

  2. Go to the Discount Campaigns page from the left-side panel.

  3. Click on the campaign you want to edit.

  4. Scroll to the Discount Display section.

  5. In the Info Icon Text field, enter or update your custom message.

  6. Click Save.

Customers will now see your message when they click the “i” icon next to the Return Saver checkbox.


Best Practices

  • Use clear, concise language.

  • Be transparent about the offer.

  • Reinforce the message in your return policy and FAQ articles to avoid disputes.
