How to Customize the Design of Your Discount Campaign Widget

Kiwi Return Saver lets you customize the appearance of the discount campaign widget shown on your product and cart pages. Tailoring the look and message helps the offer fit your brand and improves customer clarity.

Where the Widget Appears

The discount banner shows up on:

  • Product pages (near the “Add to Cart” button)

  • Cart page (as a checkbox before checkout)

Your customization settings will apply to both locations.


How to Customize the Widget

  1. Open the Kiwi Return Saver app from your Shopify admin.

  2. Go to the Discount Campaigns tab.

  3. Click "Edit" next to the campaign you want to edit.

  4. Scroll to the Discount Display section.

Here you can customize:

  • Badge Text – The short promotional message displayed with the banner (e.g., Save $10).

  • Badge Color – Choose a color that complements your store’s branding.

  • Checkbox Message – The brief statement next to the checkbox that customers click to accept the discount. (e.g., Apply 'Keep It' discount. I will not return this item.)

  • Info Icon Text – The detailed message that appears when customers hover over the “i” icon next to the checkbox.


Tips for Effective Customization

  • Use high-contrast colors so the banner stands out but still fits your brand.

  • Keep badge text short and action-oriented (e.g., “Save $10 - No Returns”)

  • Be transparent in the info message to avoid confusion or disputes.


Save and Test

Once you’ve made your changes:

  1. Click Save at the top of the page.

  2. Visit a product included in the campaign to confirm how the widget displays.

  3. Adjust and re-save if needed.
