When you launch a campaign with Kiwi Return Saver, the app automatically creates a discount code in your Shopify admin. This code is essential for automatically applying the no-return discount when a customer opts in.
Here’s how it works, and why you should avoid making changes to it manually.
Where the Code Appears
You’ll see an automatic discount listed in your Shopify admin under Discounts.
The name will be "Kiwi Returns Automatic Discount."
This code is automatically managed by the app and is not intended for manual use.
Why You Shouldn't Edit or Delete the Code ⚠️
To ensure your Return Saver campaigns work properly:
DO NOT modify the discount settings in Shopify.
DO NOT delete the code
Manual changes can break your campaign, causing the discount not to apply at checkout.
Managing the Discount Correctly
If you want to:
Change the discount amount or type → Update it in Kiwi Return Saver
End the promotion → Pause the campaign from the app.
