What is a Layout Template in Kiwi and Why Do You Need It?
Updated over 3 months ago

A layout template allows you to maintain a consistent design across multiple size charts by reusing the same layout. This is particularly useful when selling products like different t-shirts, each with its own size table. You can display the same layout elements, such as a “how-to-measure” image and description, across all size charts.

The advantage of using a template is that if you need to update the layout for your t-shirts, any changes made to the template will automatically apply to all size charts using that template.

Steps to Use a Layout Template:

  1. Navigate to the size chart you want to edit.

  2. Click on the “Use Layout Template” button.

    • You can choose to create a template from your current sizing or create a new template. If you have existing templates, they will also be available here.

  3. If you choose to create a new template:

    • Add a Template Name.

    • Customize the layout by adding elements as needed.

  4. Click "Create" once you're finished.

You can now use this template for other products, ensuring a consistent design across your size charts.
