Why is my Recommender export empty or only showing headers?

If you export Recommender Inputs from Kiwi Analytics and the downloaded file only contains headers (with no rows of data), the most common reason is that the requested date range is older than the available data window.

Currently, Recommender export data is limited to the last 30 days.

This means that if you attempt to export data from a date range older than 30 days, the export file may download successfully but will appear empty except for the column headers.


Why this happens

The Recommender Inputs analytics store detailed interaction data (such as measurements entered into the size recommender) for a limited period.

At this time:

  • Recommender input data is only available for the past 30 days

  • Older records are not retained for export

  • If an export request includes dates older than 30 days, the resulting file may contain no rows of data

This can happen even if the interface allows selecting older dates in the calendar.


Example

If today is March 15, the export will only include data from approximately:

February 14 β†’ March 15

If you attempt to export:

October β†’ December, the file will download but may only contain:

IP | Browser | URL | Input | Result | Time

(with no data rows).


How to export Recommender data successfully

To ensure your export includes data:

  1. Go to Kiwi Admin β†’ Analytics

  2. Open Recommender Inputs

  3. Select a date range within the last 30 days

  4. Click Export

The file should then contain the available recommender input records.
