Every Klarify plan includes Klara, your AI assistant. Each plan has different limits. Here is how to check how much you have left, what the limits are, and how they work.
Check how much you have left
You can see where you stand at any time, right inside the app.
See how many sessions you have left
Look at the badge on the left side of the app. It shows how many sessions you have used out of your total session budget. The budget matches your billing cycle, monthly or yearly.

How the overall usage limit works
On top of the limits above, Klara has an overall usage limit that resets daily and monthly. It is based on tokens, not a fixed number of prompts.
Tokens measure how much information you feed Klara plus what Klara generates in return. A simple request, like asking Klara to replace a word throughout a note, uses very few tokens. Loading several full transcripts and asking for a long letter uses a lot more.
We don't publish exact token numbers because usage varies so much from person to person. But you can always see how much of your Klara budget you have used. Just hover over the circle next to web search in Klara AI. Here is how the plans compare:
Seed: limited usage, enough to try Klara out
Sprout: base monthly limit
Bloom: 2x Sprout's limit
Forest: 8x Sprout's limit
If you mainly use Klara for session notes, Sprout gives you plenty of room. If you lean on Klara for treatment plans, referral letters, and reflections, Bloom or Forest gives you a lot more space.
Get more out of your limit
Load only the sessions you need for the task, rather than several at once.
When you load multiple sessions, load just the notes instead of full transcripts. Notes use far fewer tokens.
Keep your prompts focused, and ask Klara to keep responses concise.
Start a new chat per client or per task. Shorter chats use fewer tokens with each message.
What happens when you hit a limit
Klara pauses until your limit resets. Daily limits reset the next day. Monthly limits reset at the start of your next billing cycle. You can also upgrade your plan at any time to get more room right away.
Tip: check your usage before a heavy day. That way you are not stuck needing Klara and unable to use it.
