What is Loyalty?
Loyalty is a way for you to increase return customers by giving out rewards to targeted groups that you'd like to see come back.
How does it work?
You set up a loyalty campaign in KodyUniverse, choosing which customers to target and what kinds of rewards you’d like to give out. Then, customers will automatically start earning, just by tapping their card! It’s as simple as that.
How do I set it up?
Log into KodyUniverse, and click on the Loyalty tab.
Give your campaign a name (for example, Spring Promotion). Select the start date and duration of the campaign.
Next, choose your target customers. You can choose between all customers, and customers who have not transacted in awhile.
Then, specify the conditions of use for loyalty offers. Here's where you can specify how long each reward is valid for (when the customer must return in order to use it). You can also set the minimum spend amount the customer must make in order to use their reward, and whether the customer can earn multiple rewards per campaign period.
(Optional) Finally, if you would like to set time limits on your campaign, you can do it in the Redemption time section. For example, if you would like to drive traffic during weekday lunches, you can choose which hours rewards are redeemable.
(Optional) You can also specify non-redeemable periods, where you can explicitly choose certain calendar days and times when rewards are not redeemable. You might use this to block out a bank holiday that falls in the middle of your campaign period, for example.
And you're all set! Once you click "create" your campaign will begin on the day you configured, and your customers will start earning rewards automatically.
Will it cost me anything to run a Loyalty campaign?
No additional fees! Right now it is included in your plan.
What do rewards look like?
You can configure your campaign to give out either a fixed discount (e.g. £1 off) or a percentage discount (e.g. 10% off). These discounts can be applied on the next qualifying purchase.
How can I see how my Loyalty campaign is performing?
Under "Active campaign", you can find the campaign that is currently running. Click "view details" to see stats on this campaign, such as number of rewards issued, redeemed, expired and unused. You can also see how many customers have returned and your total sales that are brought in by return customers.
You can find details for future campaigns under "Scheduled Campaigns" and past campaigns under "Expired Campaigns"
How many campaigns can I run at the same time?
Currently, you can run one campaign at a time. You can schedule as many future campaigns as you'd like, as long as they don't overlap.
How do my customers use Loyalty?
Your customers will start earning loyalty offers as soon as your campaign begins. They don't even have to enroll! Once they earn a reward, it will be attached to their payment card.
Next time they visit and make a qualifying purchase, we'll automatically detect their loyalty offer based on their payment card. During the purchase, we'll ask them if they'd like to apply it to this purchase, or save it for next time.
How can I check that a Loyalty discount was applied on a transaction?
Log in to KodyUniverse and navigate to the Sales tab. When you click on a specific transaction, if a loyalty offer was applied to the purchase, it will appear here.
We've also added Loyalty Offers data in your Revenue Report. A column will now appear for Offers, allowing you clear visibility into the discounts you're giving out.
What if a customer's loyalty reward is attached to a different payment card?
Currently, we only identify customers based on their payment cards. This allows us to seamlessly enroll all of your customers into your loyalty campaign, but it does have it's limitations. We are working to improve this.
