Use this if the total amount will be split evenly between all payers.
1️⃣ Enter the full amount
Tap New Payment
Enter total (e.g. £100.00)
Select Even split
2️⃣ Choose number of payers
Use + / – to set number of splits (e.g. 4)
Kody will divide the total equally
Tap Continue
3️⃣ Choose tip for current payer (if enabled)
Select a preset tip, enter custom, or tap No tip
4️⃣ Present card
Customer taps, inserts or swipes their card
5️⃣ Approved — continue to next payer
Tap Next split payment
Repeat steps 3–5 until all payments are complete
🧮 Custom split
Use this if each person will pay a different amount.
1️⃣ Enter the full amount
Tap New Payment
Enter total (e.g. £100.00)
Select Custom split
2️⃣ Enter first payment amount
Type a custom value (e.g. £25.00)
Tap Continue
Choose tip for current payer (if enabled)
3️⃣ Present card
Customer taps/swipes/inserts card
4️⃣ Approved — continue with remaining amount
Kody will display how much is left
Tap Next split payment and repeat from Step 2 until fully paid
