When you receive a book assignment, you will first receive an email that will act as a notification. Make sure to have push notifications on for your email so you instantly see when you receive an assignment.
You can then log in to Kognity, and you will be able to access all ongoing book assignments in the subject via the assignment basket in the platform header.
When you open a book assignment, you’ll enter an isolated flow. The starting page of the book assignment has a clear title that ensures you know which book assignment you opened, particularly if you’ve accessed it via an email notification or LMS integration like Google Classroom. The table of contents contains just the pages assigned to you in the book assignment, and the only way to leave the book assignment is to close or complete it. Tools like the Glossary and Reading assistance are available in the book rail.
When a page of a book assignment is completed, the footer status changes to “Submitted”, and you can navigate to the next assignment page or the table of contents. When the last page is finished, the entire assignment is marked completed, and you can navigate back to the starting page of the book assignment. When you return to the overview page of a book assignment after completing all its tasks, a banner above the title will show the status and date of submission.

Make sure you are answering the Section Questions because this is not only how we are tracking your personal progress, but also crucial for successfully completing the book assignment.
You can complete the book assignment after the deadline has passed, but your teacher will know you missed the deadline 😀
