Digital textbooks offer so many advantages over printed textbooks; when saying 'digital,' we are not referring to online versions of printed textbooks or static PDFs.

We are talking about intelligent and interactive textbooks with content that includes videos, animations, 3D models, interactive graphs and simulations. These all complement texts and pictures that are continuously updated in ‘real-time,’ without the need for printing an additional edition.

Digital textbooks allow you to use their content directly in your classroom teaching. You are also able to easily assign the material to your students; either as a whole group or on an individual basis.

The use of Kognity’s extensive reading and question assignments is extremely popular amongst our educators. Many teachers also wonder how they can make best use of the Kognity content. Once your students are obtaining high scores on the question assignments, the interactive and engaging material within the content of Kognity can also be used in your classroom by sharing your screen with the students.

The teacher's view is now almost similar to the student's view. This will ensure that your students can easily identify the book location when you share your screen with them in the classroom.

For some subjects, you might find it relevant to use our Case Studies. These can help to contextualize topics and build a global perspective for class discussion. They can also create great team collaboration between students.

You also have access to additional material such as Theory of Knowledge, Nature of Science, and International Mindedness which you can use for group work and discussions.

For other subjects, you might find our interactive graphs useful to illustrate a relationship or effect. Additionally, some subjects give access to Investigation boxes which help to develop problem-solving and inquiry skills.

For all subjects, you can work together with your students on our Exam Style Questions - have your students solve the problems individually and then let them grade each other's answers with the example answer and mark scheme. Alternatively, Exam Style Questions can be used as a basis for a class or group discussion.

And while we are in the students' Practice centre - why don't you have your students battle each other? This can be done either as a tournament with groups of students competing, or let your students battle our Kogbot to familiarise themselves with exam stress levels as the battle is time limited.
