This help centre article has been written for the Koru Kids nanny service

As the legal employer of the nanny, the contract exists between you and your nanny.

  • Koru Kids will write the contract for you so you don’t need to worry!

  • We'll ask you to complete a short 'Contract Setup' form to help us create the right contract for you and your nanny. Once we receive this we'll start drafting your contract straight away.

  • We'll send you a 'draft' version to approve shortly after your nanny has accepted the job offer

  • If you wish to amend the contract, we'll take care of that on your behalf, simply reply to the contract email with your changes.

  • There are no 'minimum hours' to be met within the first 2 weeks of your contract, allowing for a period to settle in with flexibility.

  • The contract includes notice periods. In our standard contracts, we recommend a probation period of two weeks where the notice period is 24 hours. After the probation period, the suggested notice period is 2 weeks. However, this is free to be amended on agreement between you and your nanny

  • Once you approve the contract, we'll send it to you and your nanny for e-signing via a secure signature portal.

  • If you're unsure of anything our Contracts Team will be really happy to help!
