This article has been written for the Koru Kids Nanny Service, for nannies who have already started their application.
Here are our top top tips to keep on top of your application process!
1. Stay in touch
If you are not sure what you need to do, or are a bit stuck at any of the stages, then please get in touch. You can drop us a text, email care@korukids.co.uk, or click the live chat message button to chat with the team.
If you applied more than 5 days ago you can email us at care@korukids.co.uk for an update on your application.
2. Get ahead
Complete the forms we send through as soon as you can. For example, if you have your identity documents to hand, upload those, even if you are still checking your references contact details.
Take your time on your CV questions when creating your profile. This means you won't need to spend time editing if it is rushed or full of errors. Remember to use your own words - families want to get to know you, not Chat GPT ๐
3. Speak to your referees
This is really important and can be the stage where we see the most delays.
Drop your referees a text or email to let them know Koru Kids will be contacting them via email, and explain about the job you have applied for.
Here is a sample message you could copy and paste!
Thanks so much for giving me a reference. Iโve applied to be an after school nanny with Koru Kids. They will be contacting you via email in the next few days. Iโd love to start working with a family soon, so would be grateful if could complete the reference as quickly as possible. It will only take a few minutes of your time!ย
