You can sign up whenever you want, and it’s often a good idea to do so well in advance, so you can get an idea of how many nannies are available in your area using our Instant Search feature. You might also want to try adjusting your requirements so you can see what effect it has on your Live Count and the number of nannies you will have to choose from. 

However, we recommend waiting until around 4 weeks before your start date before you start actually contacting nannies. Most of our nannies are looking for roles with an immediate start and won’t consider roles a long time in advance. We have found that starting your search in earnest 4 weeks before you need someone to start is usually plenty of time to secure a great nanny. It is then that our Matching Team will start sending you their nanny recommendations (nannies that look like a particularly good fit for your family).
