Am I required to contact the online vet before I visit my normal vet? Does it impact my claims coverage?

No, it’s not mandatory! You are free to choose any veterinarian you prefer. 😊

Using FirstVet is completely optional—it’s a free service you can take advantage of whenever you’re concerned about your pet. 💙

A FirstVet consultation can be especially helpful when your veterinarian is hard to reach—for example, late at night, on a Sunday, or while you're traveling. A video call can also save you and your pet the stress of going to the clinic.

✔️ As a health insurance (Mini, Midi, Maxi) customer, you can use FirstVet anytime for free.
✔️ As a surgical insurance (OP) customer, you can contact FirstVet for free up to 10 days before or 30 days after surgery.
