Treatment measures or operations relating to pregnancy (including false pregnancy) and birth (in particular caesarean sections) and all associated examinations are not covered, regardless of medical necessity.
Our health insurance can cover the pregnant animal, but pregnancy-related problems are not covered. According to paragraph 4.i. of our insurance conditions, treatment measures or operations relating to pregnancy (including false pregnancy) and birth (in particular caesarean section) are excluded from insurance cover.
Puppies can be insured from the age of 8 weeks.
