To give a member of your team access to the Let's Do This dashboard please contact your Technical Account Manager, who will send you a one-time access link via which the new member can use to gain admin access.

You can give members of your team different access levels. When you contact your Technical Account Manager, please specify which level you’d like for each team member. The default is Admin - full access. If members of your team have admin access and you’d like to change that, you can switch them by contacting us.

  1. Admin – Can view/change everything

  2. Editor – Financial data is hidden, but they can view/change everything else

  3. Viewer – Financial data is hidden. They can view everything else but they cannot change, they can only export

  4. View all – Can view everything but they cannot change, they can only export

For example, in the Viewer and View all levels, the person can still view pages such as Manage Event (to check settings etc) but they cannot change anything:

FAQs

How often can access levels be changed once set?

Access levels can be changed at any time. Simply contact your Technical Account Manager who’ll be able to give you exact timings of when your new permissions will be live.

Can I view the access levels of my team members?

There’s no admin page to view or change other people's permission level.

How do I know what level of access I have?

Individual users can see what level of access they have in the bottom left corner of the dashboard, next to their profile:

Does 'change everything' include managing tickets, races and event setup?

Yes it does.

Can I create custom roles and permission levels?

Not currently. The only permission levels available are the ones outlined above.

How do I remove access for someone?

You can remove access for someone by contacting your Technical Account Manager.

What does the user see when their permissions are changed?

If you request to change someone’s permissions, they will just need to refresh the page they’re on for their new permissions to be applied. They’ll see their updated permission level in the bottom left corner of the dashboard, as in the screenshot above.

What does the user see when their access is removed?

They will be automatically logged out and won’t be able to log back into your dashboard again. This will not affect their participant profile on Let’s Do This, so they’ll still be able to login to their personal account and see their profile and upcoming events as usual.

What happens if I’m a member of multiple organisations, and I have my permissions removed for one?

You will be logged out and have to log back in again, and you will see in the top left corner that you have been removed from that organisation.

What happens if i try and access an area or make a change that I don’t have permissions for?

It depends what access level you have. Either you will get an error message and not be able to view the page, or you will see the button but it will be disabled. Often you will be able to view the setting, but not edit.

If you have any further questions, please contact your Technical Account Manager
