Lean PlanDo is a smooth project delivery tool with integrated lean methodologies.

The team will use the Integrated Lean Project Delivery (ILPD) workflow together with Plan - Do - Check - Act (PDCA) process to plan, monitor and improve the project.

To get the overall idea of the ILPD method, please refer following article:

The following features are important and useful as a client to see how the site work and preparation work are being planned, and to know the project status and performance.

2. Masterplan

The Masterplan is the module where the whole project plan can be seen with real-time site information (actual/expected dates and progress) and the expected project end date. It is powered with a useful filter for a critical path of the project, which allow you to have an eye on the current critical path. Please refer to the following articles for the useful features in the Masterplan in Lean PlanDo.

3. Lookahead

The Lookahead is a six to eight weeks view of the Masterplan, where the project team will perform forward planning of the project with the detailed breakdown of sequence of work for all the site activities into Tasks.

Under the lookahead, the project team will also plan out the site sequence, along with preparation work called Constraints.

For example, say we have an activity of “Casting of Slab A1”. The team will be breaking this activity down into Tasks such as Rebar, Formwork, Casting, and Inspection. Before starting this activity, they will also be inputting Constraints such as Authority Approvals, Structural Design Approvals, and other necessary preparation works.

4. Do List

Every week, the project team will have a Do List of tasks to be executed on site and these tasks will be monitored and updated daily. These progress updates can be found in the Do List.

5. Insights

Every detail, data and events that occurred in the project will be input by the project team, and shown in our module called the Insights. This is where your role as Client come into play most importantly, where you will be able to check the Project Status and Progress, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Bottlenecks in the project.
