The 3 account types

Within the Learned platform, users can be assigned to 3 different types of accounts. Which type you choose has implications on the amount of rights and therefore functionalities that the user has access to. Below is briefly explained which 3 types of accounts are within Learned:

  1. Admin: Responsible for setting up the account and inviting and managing members.

  2. Coach: A user who also manages a team or coaches an employee. This person has his own Team environment for managing employees.

  3. User: An employee. Only has access to his/her own profile and data.

Functionalities by account type

The Admin:

  • Automatically has the right to all profiles and data of the members. In addition, the Admin has access to the settings, teams, skill set, role library and learning library.

  • Responsible for managing the HR cycle. The Admin can set up organization-wide conversation rounds

The Coach:

  • Has insight into the profiles and personal data of the members in the team.

  • Is responsible for managing conversations, reviews, learning objectives and business goals of his/her team.

The user:

  • Has access to his/her current role within the company + possibly all other internal roles. The user does not have access to the personal data, such as reviews and conversation reports, of other users.

  • Is responsible for carrying out all activities related to reviews, conversations, goals and learning activities.

Assigning rights

Assigning rights is done by the Admin. This can be done in the following ways:

  • When inviting new members, the Admin can assign the new employee Admin rights and/or make a Team Coach.

  • From the Members page, the Admin can click on the profiles of individual employees and give them Admin rights or make a team Coach.

  • On the Team page where the teams are created, the Admin can designate 1 or more Coaches per team. The Coach then automatically gains access to the Coach functionalities.
