Within the platform Learned supports both Dutch and English as its system language. Besides that, it is also possible to set up multiple languages within the company account. Setting up multiple languages in your company account allows you to send out a survey or evaluation review not only in Dutch and/or English, but also in one of the other 22 languages. With this, you offer employees who do not speak Dutch and/or English the opportunity to also:
Display the job profile and related skills in his/her preferred language
Participate in the chosen preferred language in evaluations or surveys sent out
How to set up multiple languages?
Go to the Company settings page via your profile picture (bottom left).
You have the option to select a default language as well as languages that will be available for translations:
Default language
The default language you select is the language given as default. This is also the language displayed when no translation is available for the preferred language an employee can set in their profile settings.
Languages available for translations
These are the languages you want to add a translation for. In this way, you can ensure that employees who do not speak Dutch and/or English can also take part in a Survey.
βοΈNote: When creating a job profile, skill, evaluation template or survey, you will have to do the translations yourself.
Deleting languages
If you have set an additional language, but want to delete it, go to the Company settings page. Then click on the bin of the language you want to delete. When you delete a language, you make sure that the survey is also no longer available in that language.
βοΈNote: When you delete a language, previously created surveys or evaluations will also no longer be available in that language. You can never delete the language you have set as the default language for the company account.
Setup preferred language in personal profile as employee
An employee can set a preferred language in their personal settings. If this preferred language matches one of the languages you as Admin have added to the job profiles, skills, evaluation templates or surveys, the employee will be able to complete the evaluation interviews and surveys in the preferred language.
