This article explains the difference between the templates and themes at Surveys and at Reviews

Templates for both modules are built from various themes, there are some differences between them.


Review

  • Topics: Topics include business performance, aspirations and skill evaluations with a focus on the employee. Topics include different types of questions, such as open-ended questions, rating questions, skill evaluations, or planning goals.

  • Templates: Examples such as performance appraisals, year-end interviews, or interviews at the end of the probationary period.

Surveys

  • Themes: Contain questions that measure sentiment from employees regarding an internal issue for the organization. Topics include diversity, workload, and leadership.

  • Templates: Mainly used for Employee Satisfaction Surveys, mood measures, or onboarding evaluations.
