Search for Cases

  1. Go to the Quick Search box in the smart area at the top of CaseMatters.

  2. Choose the search type you want to use. You can search by Reference, Client, or Case Name.

  3. Start typing into the search box. Matching cases will appear as you type.

  4. Select the case you want from the results, then click Open Case.

  5. Check your Recent Cases list after opening the case, where the case will now appear.

How Quick Search Works

Quick Search is a type-ahead search tool built into the smart area at the top of CaseMatters. It is designed to help you find and open a case in seconds.

The search covers all your cases across both Proclaim and CaseMatters. You can search by:

  • Reference for the case number.

  • Client for the client name.

  • Case Name for the case name.

Coming Soon

More search functionality is planned for CaseMatters.

This includes:

  • Comprehensive case and correspondence search through Evo Global Search.

  • Query and SQL search capabilities.

📌 Note: The draft states that Evo Global Search is expected very shortly, with an estimated timeframe of around two weeks.
