The Planner is an essential tool within the Legal Nodes Platform designed to help clients organize and manage their future legal requests efficiently. Here’s how to find and use the planner in your Legal Nodes account.
What is the Planner?
The Planner is a feature of the Legal Board in your Legal Nodes account. It serves as a collaborative space for you and your team to plan and organize future legal requests before submitting them to your Virtual Legal Officer (VLO).
Key features of the Planner
Team collaboration: All users within your team can view and edit planned requests, fostering collaboration and alignment on legal priorities.
Privacy: The Planner and all planned requests are not visible to your VLO, allowing you to brainstorm and organize internally before engaging legal support.
Simplicity: Easily convert planned requests into active legal requests by submitting them to your VLO for just 1 credit, streamlining the transition from planning to action.
How to find the Planner
You can find the Planner in your Legal Board. Toggle between your Active Board and the Planner by clicking the respective buttons.
Once in the Planner, you can view all your planned requests. You, and all of your team mates, can delete, edit, or submit a request to your VLO. Submitting a request costs 1 credit, and allows your VLO to either complete the request, if its a simple one that costs no more than 1 credit, or assess additional tasks and costs for more complex legal requests.
You can create an unlimited number of new requests using the icon on the right-hand side of the page.
You can sort and filter your planned requests by date order using the tool on the right-hand side.
How to use the Planner
Use the Planner to outline and describe potential legal requests your business may need in the future.
Click on the black icon to create a new request. Provide details, including:
Category: Choose from the drop-down menu
Title: Give a title for your request, such as “Trademark”
Description: Provide details of your request, such as “Trademark registration in the UK for my brand name, logo, etc.”
When you're ready to move forward with a planned request, you can submit it to your VLO directly from the Planner. This action costs 1 credit and moves the request to your Active Board.
