This article explains how to delete a matter from LegalOn.
Steps to delete a Matter
Go to the [Matters] list and click the matter you want to delete.
On the matter detail page, click […] → [Delete].
Review the confirmation message and proceed with deletion.
If the matter has linked files:
Click [Next].
Click [Delete] to confirm.
If no linked files:
Simply click [Delete] to confirm.
💡 Info
Deleting a matter does not delete any linked files.
If you want to delete a linked file, open the file detail screen and delete each file individually. See: [How to delete uploaded files]Any matters previously linked to this one will have their links removed automatically.
⚠️ Notes
Deleted matters cannot be restored.
