[New] How to delete uploaded files

This article explains how to delete uploaded contracts and in-house templates from LegalOn, including version-specific and bulk deletion options.


Delete a file from the File detail page

To delete a specific version

  1. Go to the [Contracts] or [My templates] list.

  2. Click on the file you want to delete.

  3. Hover on the right to reveal the menu, then click the [Versions] tab.

  4. Click [… ] → [Delete this version] next to the target version.

  5. Confirm the prompt by clicking [Delete].
    → A confirmation message will appear: "Version deleted."

To delete all versions of a file

  1. Follow steps 1–2 above to open the File detail page.

  2. Click [… ] → [Delete all versions] in the upper-right corner.

  3. Confirm by clicking [Delete].

The file will be removed from the list view and a message will appear: "File deleted."

Delete from the File editor

You can also delete files from the File editor.

  1. Open the file using steps 1–2 above.

  2. Click [Review] to open the File Editor.
    → If you do not have the Review module, click [Edit] instead.

  3. In the editor, click [… ] → [Delete this version] or [Delete all versions].

  4. Confirm the action in the prompt.

Deletion options summary

Delete this version

Only deletes the currently displayed version

Delete all versions

Deletes the entire file and removes it from the list view

Delete files from the List view in bulk

  1. In the [Contracts] list view, select the checkboxes for the files you want to delete.

  2. Click [Delete] at the top of the screen.

💡 Info

You can select and delete up to 50 files per page.
